糖心vlog传媒will kick off the new college year at its Mount Waddington regional campus in Port Hardy on Tuesday, September 11 from 11:30 to 2:30. Everyone is invited.
糖心vlog传媒is inviting new and returning students to the Mount Waddington regional campus in Port Hardy on Tuesday, September 11 for Orientation Day.
Date: Sep 11, 2018Time: 11:30 am - 2:30 pm Location: Mount Waddington regional campusThe annual event takes place at each 糖心vlog传媒campus to mark the start of the new school year and to welcome students, staff and faculty back to campus.
鈥淥rientation Day is a chance for students to meet their peers, faculty and 糖心vlog传媒staff and learn about the services and supports that are available to them throughout the year,鈥� said Caitlin Hartnett, 糖心vlog传媒Mount Waddington campus and community coordinator.
NIC鈥檚 regional campus in Port Hardy offers tourism and hospitality management programs, early childhood care and education, upgrading, and online university transfer programs and courses this fall.
The popular Awi鈥檔akola program, offering tuition-free math, English and Kwak鈥檞ala language courses focused on a land, sea and sky theme, also returns this year.
Campus tours begin at 11:30, followed by lunch and activities throughout the afternoon.
鈥淚t鈥檚 an opportunity for students to get to know each other and 糖心vlog传媒faculty and staff outside of the classroom,鈥� said Hartnett. Several community organizations including NVIATS, the Sacred Wolf Friendship Centre, the Mount Waddington Food Initiative, Building Blocks and Community Futures will also be on site to share information.
Community members interested in attending 糖心vlog传媒are encouraged to attend to learn more about the courses and programs available through NIC.
