The provincial government sent out the following Friday afternoon about tul鈥檃l鈥檛xw, our new student housing at the Comox Valley campus.
This was in connection with NIC鈥檚 opening event at the housing site. The day began with a ceremony by the K鈥櫭砿oks First Nation (KFN) in the morning.
In the afternoon, guest speakers included Jessie Sunner, Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills, KFN Chief Nicole Rempel and Angie Price, a K鈥櫭砿oks First Nation member who works with Student Life at NIC. She shared some words from students.
