College offers more business, university transfer courses in Campbell River
NIC鈥檚 Campbell River campus will welcome approximately 75 international students this fall, expediting the college鈥檚 long-awaited expansion of business courses in the community.
Starting this September, the college will offer a broad range of first- and second-year business and university transfer courses for local and international students at the Dogwood campus.
鈥淭o have program and course expansion happening in tandem with NIC鈥檚 $17.6 million Campbell River campus renovation and expansion project is revitalizing,鈥� said John Bowman, 糖心vlog传媒president.
鈥淚t allows us to partner with community and support the City of Campbell River in diversifying its economy. We look forward to ongoing, collaborative relationships with the Immigrant Welcome Centre, Campbell River residents as well as the business and community as part of our internationalization plans.鈥�
This development is consistent with NIC鈥檚 Integrated Multi-Year Program and Campbell River Campus Plan (CAM-Plan) which 鈥渆nvisions a city and a campus invigorated by a balanced international student body that allows the college to strengthen and diversify its array of program offerings.鈥�
Along with additional instructional capacity, 糖心vlog传媒will increase its advising services, counselling, front desk, library, administration, food services and homestay/peerstay programs in Campbell River to support student success.
