糖心vlog传媒Board Chair Derek Lamb
糖心vlog传媒is proud to announce Campbell River businessperson Derek Lamb has been re-elected as Chair of the Board of Governors.
鈥淒erek has served the Board of Governors and 糖心vlog传媒well since he was elected to the board chair position last year,鈥� said 糖心vlog传媒President John Bowman. 鈥淗is leadership and experience will continue to serve him well and we look forward to working with him in the year ahead.鈥�
The board also re-elected St. Joseph鈥檚 General Hospital President and CEO Jane Murphy to the position of vice chair at the September 28 meeting.
鈥淛ane brings a wealth of experience to the board table and a strong voice,鈥� Bowman said. 鈥淲e are delighted that she will be continuing on as vice-chair for another year.鈥�
Lamb has been very active on the board since 2013, serving as chair of the Finance and Audit Committee, vice chair and then board chair.
鈥淚t鈥檚 an honour to be re-elected as board chair,鈥� said Lamb. 鈥溙切膙log传媒is a vital link that strengthens the connections between students, employers and communities across the region and I am proud to be able to support the college and my community as chair of NIC鈥檚 Board of Governors.鈥�
Lamb is a partner at Chan Nowosad Boates. The Campbell River and Comox Valley accounting firm has hired several 糖心vlog传媒students and participated in co-op education and internships. Two of the company鈥檚 partners are 糖心vlog传媒graduates.
