Campbell River ElderCollege鈥檚 next information meeting happens at the Campbell River 糖心vlog传媒campus on Friday, Sept. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Come out and meet course leaders, enjoy some refreshments and find out what courses are available this fall.
The public is invited to an information meeting about the new line-up of Campbell River ElderCollege courses for students aged 50-plus.
The meeting will be held at the Campbell River campus of 糖心vlog传媒 on Friday, Sept. 20 at 1:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Course leaders will be present to tell people what鈥檚 on offer and answer any questions.
This is the program鈥檚 20th year offering informative, interesting and inexpensive courses that provide lifelong opportunities for people 50-plus. From a humble start in 2004, providing just five courses, Campbell River ElderCollege has steadily grown course lists and membership. Members on the far side of 50 can now gain access to as many as 50 courses annually, at minimum cost and without the stress of grades or exams.
Campbell River ElderCollege is volunteer-run and self-funded. There are many volunteering opportunities available to maintain this organization, and ElderCollege is always looking for new course leaders鈥損lease let us know if you are interested in sharing your knowledge and experience.
Plan to come out to our public information meeting on Sept. 20 in the Student Commons at 糖心vlog传媒 (1685 S. Dogwood St.). Come to the main entrance and look for the signs.
