When culinary student Kartik Goel received support through the 糖心vlog传媒 Foundation (NICF), it not only helped ease financial stress but brought his dream one step closer to reality. The NICF award meant Kartik could fully focus on his studies, putting the aspiring chef on track to one day achieve his goal of opening a fusion restaurant. 鈥淚 am grateful and thankful for this award, which allowed me to focus on my dreams of becoming a professional chef in my own fusion restaurant,鈥� he said at the time.

Each year, more than 500 students like Kartik benefit from the generosity of Foundation donors. Working alongside a volunteer Board of Directors, the organization supports students by providing much-needed scholarships and bursaries. 
But NICF is more than an award program. The Foundation works with donors to upgrade 糖心vlog传媒 learning spaces, equip classrooms with current technology and raise funds to support students facing urgent or emergency financial needs.

In the past three decades, donors have contributed more than $4 million to nearly 5,000 students. In 2024 alone, NICF welcomed 230 donors, including 65 first-time gifts.

Romana Frey is one of those new donors. Diagnosed with both autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity, she is committed to helping others embrace their neurodivergent identities. Through NICF, she launched a $1,000 annual award for neurodiverse students. 鈥淚 want to help people the way I wish I had been helped,鈥� she says.

As 糖心vlog传媒marks 50 years of supporting students鈥� education and training, the Foundation continues to play a vital role in their success. That success not only impacts the individual, but helps build stronger communities across the region.
